I haven't watched anything new lately, I've been in a mood where I'm watching the same fights over and over again. Frazier-Ellis and Marciano-Walcott 1 at least 5 times in the last week.

McCloskey vs G. Lauri
Round 1 McCloskey
Lauri was taking the round but McCloskey
outworked him down the stretch imo
Round 2 McCloskey
McCloskey maintaining distance and having more success,
he also dug some solid hooks to the body
Round 3 Lauri
Lauri most consistent over the round imo
Round 4 McCloskey
McCloskey more active over this round, he landed
the uppercut very effectively
Round 5 McCloskey
McCloskey picked the better shots this round imo,
although it was a closer round
Round 6 McCloskey
Round 7 Lauri
Lauri landed a number of short chopping
shots on the inside, more active
Round 8 Lauri
McCloskey got cut this round, he was taking some solid
shot from Lauri on the inside, Lauri looked the boss
this round
Round 9 McCloskey (close)
McCloskey got more separation this round and picked
some smart counters, the right hook, and the uppercut
Round 10 Lauri 10/8
McCloskey had a point taken for leaning in with his
head
Round 11 Lauri starting hitting McCloskey whilst they
were in a clinch, it seemed to anger McCloskey who stepped in
after the ref broke them and knocked him out with a
hook
Dont know why McCloskey languished on the inside so much,
he could of made this fight much easier had he maintained
and dictated distance, kept some separation, he did
show he could fight inside, although he did get hit with a
lot of these short choppy hook right hands inside.

Fight Night Club - 6-24-2010
Jamie Kavanagh vs Luis Sanchez
Round 1 Kavanagh
Round 2 Kavanagh
Round 3 Kavanagh
Round 4 Kavanagh
Kavanagh is a patient aggressive fighter who uses
lots of upperbodymovement, might be a bit open
to right hands but he looked a decent prospect without
being exceptional, he can also move and use his legs,
kinda reminds me of Frankie Gavin the way he
uses his legs.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jesse Vargas vs Ernesto Zavala
Round 1 Vargas 10/8
Round 2Vargas
Round 3Vargas
Round 4 Zavala
Round 5 Zavala
Round 6 Vargas pins Zavala on the ropes and
forces the stoppage
Jesse Vargas is probably a better prospect than he
looked, he seem to do too much laying inside
giving up his range falling inside because he scored
a KD so early in the fight, he likes fighting in-tight, its worth pointing out
that he did seem to be blowing a bit in the fight, Zavala did
land some solid body shots on him, he does have a
nice in-close uppercut
-----------------------------------------------------------
Gary Russell Jr vs Rodrigo Aranda
Round 1 Russell Jr
Round 2 Russell Jr drops him with a body shot
and the ref calls it off
Excellent prospect, very nice use of the jab that he
uses consistently to dictate and control distance, very
quick to, however i already knew that having seen
him in the U.S boxoffs
---------------------------------------------------------------
Frankie Gomez vs Jaimie Orrantia
Round 1Gomez
Round 2 ref waved it off a bit too quick imo, hard
to tell how good Gomez is as we did not get to see
enough of him, although he is a highly touted prospect
who is a decorated amateur
------------------------------------------------------
Roberto Reyes vs Clint Coronel
Round 1 Roberto Reyes
Round 2 fight stopped on an accidental head butt
Roberto Reyes is a long range Boxer, bout all i could say
----------------------------------------------------------
ESPN Friday Night Fights
Jerson Ravelo vs Maxim Vlasov
Round 1 Maxim Vlasov
Round 2 Maxim Vlasov
Round 3 brutal big right hand that dropped
Ravelo on his face.
Jerson Ravelo fights scared, goes back on the line,
which leaves him open to right hands, he also has a
tendency to move one way, to the left. Maxim Vlasov
a bit wreckless, a bit overly aggressive
------------------------------------------------------
Jonte Willis vs Leo Bercier
Round 1 Jonte Willis
Round 2 Jonte Willis
Round 3 Jonte Willis 10/8
Round 4 Jonte Willis
Jonte Willis tries to look slick like Toney but he just looks sloppy,
he throws arms punches that seem to lack power, he did land
some classy counter uppercuts but he is not smart fighting the
style he tries to employ, although he seems to think he is
.-------------------------------------------------------------
Jhon Berrio vs Sherzod Husanov
Round 1 Husanov
Round 2 Husanov
Round 3 Jhon Berrio
Round 4 Jhon Berrio
Round 5 Jhon Berrio (either way)
Round 6 Jhon Berrio (Husanov landed better punches but inactive)
Round 7 Husanov
Round 8 Husanov
Round 9 Husanov
Round 10 Husanov
Poor fight technically, lots of scrappy exchanges, Husanov completely switched
off after round 2, although he came alive in again in the second half of the fight, not
a particularly impressive prospect, i was asking myself, where on earth is the jab?
I might have been kind to Berrio in a couple of rounds, he was throwing a lot but
not all of it was landing, that said, Husanov, whilst landing the cleaner punches, was
far too inactive in some of those rounds.

Last fight I watched was Winky Wright vs Sam Soliman. It's crazy how styles make fights! Felix Trinidad in my opinion is an ATG wheras Soliman is a good fighter at best. But Winky had an easy night with Trinidad and had a very hard night's work with Soliman.
That guy has to have the craziest style of boxing ever, I dont know how he managed to keep throwing 100 punches a round for all 12 rounds. He just kept coming, Even though he was only landing about 15 per round.

Round 1 Mitchell 10/8
Mitchell took this by working behind his jab and dropping
the occasional right hand on White, he managed to drop
White with a jab.
Rond 2 Mitchell forced the stoppage in this round as
he got the jab going and began whacking White
with a half right hand/hook
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Willie Villanueva vs Randy Arrellin
Round 1 Arrellin used the jab for the most part put did
land a left hook right hand when he had Villanueva near
the ropes, good speed shown from Arrellin
Round 2 Arrellin
Villanueva was a bit more active this round as he went to the
body of Arellin but mid round he was getting dominated
by the more aggressive Arrellin who seems to be catching
him with every left hook he throws.
Round 3 Arrellin
Hammering Villanueva this round and scoring
two KD's, Villanueva very tough to survive what
he took, could of been stopped, should of been imo
Round 4 Villanueva taking punches near the ropes
and turns his back as the ref waves if off.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Richard Hall vs Yordanis Despaigne
Round 1 Despaigne
Despaigne won this with his counter right hands
Round 2 Despaigne
Despaigne countering with the right hand to the body
and scoring upstairs occasionally, Hall let his hands go
more this round
Round 3 Despaigne
Despaigne countering again with the right hand to
the head and body, also starting to land the odd
uppercut
Round 4 Despaigne
Hall did better landing punches this round but he still
got out-landed by Despaigne who cant miss him with the
counter right hand, its landed over and over
Round 5 Despaigne
Despaigne countering Hall with everything this round
Round 6 Despaigne
Round 7 Despaigne
Round 8 Despaigne
Round 9 Despaigne
Round 10 Despaigne
Boring fight, so much so that i gave up scoring it halfway through, Hall looked like
an old man who needs to retire, Despaigne whilst showed a decent defense,
albeit a little open to the right hook, did not go threw the gears and let the fight drag
on, he easily potshotted the older, slower, plodding Hall to a clean sweep on my card
Disappointing card this week imo
