Jim, its a simple query. How do wealthy white people continually con poor, working and middle class white people into voting against what is in their best long term financial interest?

Democrats tend to do better with poorer people so It isn't surprising that Hilary got more votes from the poor.

I didn't state all Trump voters were working class. I asked why the poor whites mentioned by D4th voted for him.

The way that wealthy white people con working and middle class people is by promising them and delivering to a large extent that they wont raise their taxes, but lower them, that they will nominate conservative justices to the supreme court, that they will repeal Obamacare which has caused premiums to skyrocket, that they will build a wall to stop illegal immigration, that they will repeal business regulations that makes it hard for small business owners to operate, that they will limit government interference in your life regarding the 1st amendment, as was the case with the bakers, and that they will protect the 2nd amendment. They con them by saying that qualification should be based on merit and not the color of your skin, that socialism has adverse affects and redistributing wealth is a slippery slope.

With all of that you're right, just can't see why anyone would vote Republican.

I don't consider being a racist "joining a party". I don't support or respect people on either side of that type of bs. There is being critical of sh^t that has racial elements & there is straight up racism.
