If it was a fair ref... how many points should Wlad have lost tonight?

    It was not as dirty. Akinwande was trying to spoil the fight,(Lewis was showing a good insight game) but he didn't throw elbows, nor did he push Lewis' head down.

    What is interesting though, is not the total number of clinches, but how the referee reacts to it. Akinwande is warned before the 1st round ends, a point is deducted in the 2nd and his corner is warned.

    Judge by yourself everybody

        wlad was throwing a bit more tho and hurting povetkin unlike akinwande against lewis but yes,,the ref def should have warned wlad and taken points if he continued. I think wlad probably would have stopped the holding and may have let his hands go more had he been warned to avoid the dq loss. the damn ref is as much to blame as wlad. it may have turned into a descent scrap had the stupid ref warned wlad
