Here's a 'what if' - what if Frankie Carbo and Blinky Palermo didn't go to prison in 1960 and still handled Liston in '64. - Cassius Marcellus Clay would have ended up in the hands of a totally different set of gangsters and would probably never have become a a Black Muslim. The Louisville contingent would have had to serve him up to the IBC just to get a title shot, and once in even the Nation of Islam wasn't going to get Ali (Clay) out again.
