Ignoring them is how we ended up with so many. The media's job shouldn't be to ignore, their job should be to report. Every media member should be exposing Main Events right now for trying to prop up the IBA. HBO should have refused to buy Main Events card if unrecognized titles were going to be on the show. HBO ignoring the WBO in the 80s and 90s didn't stop them. HBO refusing to buy the fights would have stopped them.

Look at what Sky Sports did. They decided to stop buying fights if IBO, IBA or WBU titles were at stake and almost over night, the titles disappeared from the market.
