Hagler was interested in fighting a retired SRL.

Vitali was interested in fighting a retired Lennox.

Jones was interested in fighting a retired Trinidad.

Groves fought a retired Glen Johnson.

I could go on all day.

Excuses make it all ok. Golovkids have more excuses than any other fanbase here. Can't you guys ever say, "That sucks, I wish he wouldn't do that ". Or, do you think he is so benevolent that everything he or his team does is superb?

Why the fk can't anyone on nsb have the balls to question their idols?

Hagler didn't pursue Leonard while he was retired. Leonard came out of retirement to pursue Hagler. While Leonard was retired Hagler fought Hearns and Duran. He didn't sit around taking safe fights until he could get a big payday from Leonard.

Jones and Trinidad had already made their bones before they fought. They both were cashing out on their names, which they had built by fighting A-level competition and winning titles in multiple weight classes

Vitali was interested in Lewis because he wanted revenge on Lewis. He was up on the scorecards before Lewis split his **** open. And Vitali went on to spark Number 1 contenders after Number 1 contender after Lewis retired and won the WBC.

If Froch fought Johnson obviously he wasn't retired, duh! And while Froch was pursuing Johnson he went on to fight Dirrell, Pascal, Kessler, Abraham and after beating Johnson he fought Ward, Bute, Kessler and Groves.

            GGG is fighting bums!

                1. Yes Hagler did. Stop trying to rewrite history.

                2. Doesn't matter, Vitali still wanted the fight and Lennox was retired.

                3. Again doesn't matter, Jones wanted a fight against a retired boxer.

                4. Reading is fundamental, I said Groves not Froch.

Odd how you how so many excuses for other fighters for calling out retired fighters but don't give GGG the same benefit.

                You're a fanboy.

Since you have such big balls, question why Ward turned the fight down in 2013.

And question why Kessler was a hype job after losing to Calzaghe but a future HOF after losing to Ward

Go ahead Mr. Fox show us what you're made of.

P.S. You'll get the other X when you prove you're not a fanboy.

A fanboy of who? And Groves still fought better competition than GGG. GGG is sitting around waiting on a payday and he keeps taking step aside money to delay a big payday. He can't go out on his own and make his own legacy so he wants a handout from others who have. Your hero is 33 years old with a **** resume and he's a welfare fighter. He should pull himself up by his bootstraps and make his own name instead of relying on GGG or Cotto to make a name for himself.
