What top level fighters has Pac beaten in recent times? He is only getting slower and now has an injury. (lets just presume thats true).

      So yea, why not berto.

Floyd on the other hand is still head and shoulders (pun!) above everyone else. So he should be fighting someone that is a challenge.

berto is a waste of time for any of these guys

it's not like he's some unproven prospect who might surprise us and become ATG... he's been stopped by multiple gatekeepers and is nearing bum status

If Berto fights Pac then he will all of the sudden no longer be a low-level opponent

            -Former 147 champion
            -physically healthy and fit
            -a full and strong welterweight
-coming in with two solid victories

lol, Pacquiao has made formal title defenses against fighters with less.

No, that's not how things work. Berto is ****, and would be a very weak pick for Pac.

Haha, funny how you mention nothing about how he has been totally outboxed in almost all of his last fights in the last few years. If you put that back in there, I'd say it's clear as day that Rios and Algieri are still better picks (by a lot too).

I get the injury lay-off factor, but still, Berto is a poor fight for any top rated WW.
Berto is the kind of fighter the likes of Erroll Spence should be looking at fighting.

I doubt it Blanco. They are about the same level fighters which is good enough to compete with Khan

His loss to Mayweather is to be taken lightly imo. He was not able to get off. He was hesitant due to Mayweathers counters. When he did get to Maywestger he was sharp and did some good work. Berto would get absolutely battered. Its not a good tune up for Manny. He doesn't need one, whether he was injured or not.

Pacquaio fought Rios, Algeri and many other lower levels than Berto.
