This thread is a complete BS. It's not the meat, it's the carbo hydrates that people are eating with it. And the holesterol talk is a myth. Animal fat is great for health. Thousands of people who went on a strict carnivore diet, including myself, have seen major improvements in their health since. People shouldn't trust the nutritional pyramids because they are created by the ministries of agriculture in most cases, or if they are created by the ministry of health, their researches are financed by the agricultural corporations. People evolved on meat since their beginning and now the agricultural corporations and the state are making them believe they should eat plants like the good sheeps they are, including some plant cultures they started eating only hundreds of years ago. Many people saved their lives by going carnivore. People healed their multiple sclerosis and life threatening deceases by going carnivore. Go read about Mikhaila Peterson's case and also read about Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride. The state is telling you you're going to die of a heart attack by eating meat, while Hong-Kong is the place people are consuming more meat than anywhere else in the world and their life expectancy is 84 years. More than 30% of Indians are vegans and India is suffering the heart decease epidemics. By the way the average life expectancy in India is 68 years. Try to go vegan for 5 years and let me know how you feel. But meat is the problem???? This is just some propaganda for the good sheeps.

Talk about an eye opener.
It’s well known that carbs kill. Problem is that too many industries would get destroyed if people stopped eating carbs. Farmers, restaurants, “food” manufacturers, the medical industry would lose trillions. This for the sake of the economy the government keeps pushing the food pyramid.

wrong, the idea that saturated fat isnt bad for you is UNPROVEN, while white meats are proven to be harmless,(organic) we dont know if high fat diets are bad or good, its the new fad, in 30 years time we will know, btw the Eskimos didnt live that long and they are the closest thing we have to a real world example of how a high fat diet affects life span
We know most centurions eat very little red meat, sugar, and bad fats, and all the healthy stuff like complex carbs vegetables fruit, nuts, good fats white meat and so on, they are proven and its not JUST genetics.

Another thing is, too many people is looking at the nutritional content of vegetables and thinking thats the exact amount of nutritional values their body is going to get from it, which couldn't be further from the truth. The vegans are living (but not for so long) proof that you can't nurish your body close enough by eating plants and instead should treat them as an addition to your animal based food. Go find anybody who's been vegan for more than 4-5 years and you are going to see countless proves of malnurishment.
Why am I saying that the majority of the vegetable nutritional content won't finish in your body and nurish it? Because the plants are full of anti-nutrients, wich is their mechanism of defending themselves from the predators who want to eat them because they have no legs to run. The human body can process just a small percentage of their nutrients, the rest goes to poop. The more carbo hydrates you eat, the more you poop. That's why some people who went carnivore may experience the constipation in the beginning. Cause they eat no fiber, while at the same time their body is able to process a way bigger percentage of their food, because it's the animal food. So they poop less.

misleading title. a pound of chicken breast has very little fat. a pound of ribeye, has loads of some of the worst kind of fat for you, the kind that hardens and blocks your arteries and is solid at room temperature. and for that reason it also contains more calories and pound for pound will promote weight gain a hell of a lot more than chicken. good, marbled ribeye will easily be 1.5-2X as calorically rich as chicken, pound for pound, even with the fat trimmed.
