So what's the benefit of creating a PR stunt on Wilder's behalf when both guys who manage him have made fights where their guy has made together over 300+ mil for fights? SHO and Espinosa has paid Floyd millions in that 6 fight deal? It's ok to have doubt, but I fail to see your doubt and reasoning.
Because Wilder isn't Floyd Mayweather. Paying that kind of money is contingent on a stream of revenue that would be considered reliable - and Mayweather is arguably the most surefire draw in US boxing modern history - if not, of all time.
Wilder is the exact opposite. He has no track record - zero. There's a significant difference between a person or network having the ability to pay because they have money in their slush fund, and actually putting that money up as security when leveraging a fight involving a guy who's never drawn a PPV dime.
I don't doubt for a second that both sides have been loose with their words in this situation. It's just a matter of where in the middle it meets.

That man has men in his corner who have done 5-6 hundred million dollar fights. Al Haymon knows that if the fight was promoted right that it could make big money which is why they were willing to give the coward 50 mil.
