Now that we have mapped the genetic code of species it might be easier to splice genes in order to create Dinosaurs than to find a cure for cancer. Jurassic Park might be a thing of our lifetime. Also this begs the question if they can recreate dinosaurs through DNA splicing, whats to stop them from theoretically making a Centaur, Minotaur, or whateve else type of taur from ancient myths. How do they give this dude a Nobel prize for finding the half life of DNA being 521 years right when all kinds of dinosaur soft tissue is being found or when DNA from fossil horses found in the same permafrost as dinosaurs? And why the heck didnt they mention what technique they dated the horse with?
