Like the title says, for guys like Ward, Martinez, Mayweather, Pacquiao etc. what have been their greatest individual rounds? The rounds you'd submit if you were making a case for how great they are.

Being a Sergio fan I'd say these are probably some of his best rounds (technique wise):
Martinez v. Chavez jr. (Rd. 5,7)
Martinez v. Pavlik (Rd. 1,2,9)
Martinez v. Williams I (Rd. 2,3)
Martinez v. Bunema (Rd. 3)

And I like round 9 vs Richard williams because it's just pure domination and he lands some nasty shots

Martinez-Pavlik - Round 9
Mayweather-Cotto - Round 8
Marquez-Pacquiao I - Round 1
As for Manny, I'll have to think this one through.
Ward, can't remember the round but it was when he was getting overly physical with Froch, and Froch looked at Smoger as if to say "Get me the fuck out of here!".

Mayweather-Cotto round 8, fuckin' epic...
Martinez-Pavlik round 9,
What makes the round special is that Pavlik managed to adapt, took the last 3 rounds before the 9th, Martinez in the 9th went demon mode.

Mayweather:
rounds 8 and 9 vs. Chavez
round 11 vs. Castillo I
round 8 vs. Hatton
round 2 vs. Mosley (got rocked badly, finished the round walking his guy down)
i'd have to think for others, but those are what i got off the top of my head.
he fought sloppy for large parts of the Cotto fight, screwed around too much.

this could be a good thread, but hardly anybody is posting in it. suggests to me that people follow boxing more for the twitter wars than to watch the fights, sadly.
