What an annoying bragger. AJ is still by far the A side and to this day makes more money every fight than Wilder does.

What would they replace Hearn with? They'd have less content than they do already how's that gonna help them?

You don't know if they're playing a long ball with his prospects and have no evidence of DAZN's disatification. Let me know when you're not making it up.
If they don't start generating enough revenue and subs from their boxing content, then chances are they just might scrap the boxing content from their platform altogether. I wouldn't rule it out. It's very possible.

Take Canelo for example; The cash cow of boxing. He only produced 1.2 mil subs in 9 countries around the globe and produced less than $9mil at the live gate with Jacobs at the T-Mobile arena; Where he generated revenues of more than $27 mil and $23 mil respectively against two back to back Golovkin bouts on Pay per View.

That's almost a $15 mil loss of revenue from his previous fight at the live gate in the same venue as the Golovkin rematch. In addition, overall the Jacobs fight only grossed $57mil worldwide in 9 countries as compared to $94mil in just in the states alone with the Golovkin rematch.

Which is very pathetic with a $37mil decline in overall revenue and a sign that DAZN are in trouble. Also, the Main Event cost DAZN $50mil to produce when the overall event was only able to generate $57mil from ticket sales and subs.

      DAZN is losing money.

Some fights make more money than others, DAZN aren’t losing money by making money.

The build up to the Canelo-Jacobs fight was proof of how much effort DAZN put into that fight, knowing that it wouldn’t be the blockbuster of the GGG fights.

DAZN will make money whether it was a big fight or a small fight, it’s not single PPV fights like the old format.

Blah blah blah all opinions and no substance.

Let me know what DAZN's projections are and then if the subscriber base is lagging behind.

I don't want hear that you have no concept of investment when you fail to mention/consider rentention of subscribers, the spread of word of mouth etc and start talk about them making losses on their first fights when it was likely forecasted by DAZN.

            wilder isn't lying here

wilder is surrounded by some bright, powerful, people in the sport

how long do u think DAZN will be happy helping foot the bill for AJ's big paydays while they are against sub par competition that nobody cares about?

how much longer do u think they'll accept miller/ruiz level fights?

meanwhile wilders price tag can be happily and easily met while fighting on fox/showtime against Ortiz, kownacki etc

the pressure will be on the a-side here...the fans, media and everyone will begin applying the pressure on AJ...for when an a-side wants a fight truly it always gets done

wilder is represented by some smart people...they know what the DAZN offer was...an act of mild desperation....that will soon grow to be more than mild...they know the pressure will be on them to get this fight done sooner rather than later

AJ has more options of fighting around the world. Wilder has one belt and has decided to stay at home and keep it there, in his comfort zone.

Wilder isn't controlling shyyte..... AJ defeat to wlad and all the fame that comes with it opponed his eyes to know that he can actually earn more than the migre 1.5mil Al gives him.
The problem is he became too jealous and want to be like AJ over night through the media without fighting a live soul.

So far so good, it has been working for him, but how long can it last?

actually wilder was willing to fight AJ in the UK for 12.5...he had one simple request that it was in 2018 and hearn couldn't meet that request...but that ship has sailed

yes AJ can fight back home again..or wherever....the point you are missing is sooner or later people, the media/fans/whoever, aren't going to accept mediocre or subpar competition

canelo is a cashcow in boxing...he has options....but the pressure mounted on him to face golovkin...the fans and media put the press on him and there was no way out and the fight had to be made

people aren't going to accept AJ running around with 3 belts calling himself the top dog while hes not fighting fury and wilder...it wont be accepted much longer

sure hearn can take him back home and fight more bottomfeeders....and it will make money in the UK because those guys will go to anything....but the general public and media will start asking questions and say "whats up"

                  that's just reality

Who exactly will AJ be fighting next? What will be his future "mega-fights"? against Andy Ruiz? Trevor Bryan? or Pulev?

One way or the other, he will have to fight Wilder and/or Fury and both of them will demand to be equals. Besides, AJ can't low-ball Bryan or Pulev since they are mandatories and can simply go to purse bid. Imagine having to pay Bryan more than Ortiz because he is mandatory and you cannot lowball them.

Isn't Bryan only mandatory for Charr?
