The WBC are a joke. They clearly protect and favour certain fighters or people the fighters work with.

As pointed out, Adonis Stevenson never had a mandatory for years. Things are always being fiddled so Wilder never gets a tough mandatory too, such as slotting Stiverne in as mandatory despite not fighting for 2 years and going life and death with Rossy in his only fight between the first Wilder fight. Ridiculous.

They are crooks. More concerned with making bogus belts named after gemstones than running a credible sanctioning body.

Look at what they did with Lomachenko. I’m a big Loma fan but how can they slot him in as mandatory out of the blue when he wasn’t even in their rankings, just because they want him as their champ. It’s a kick in the teeth for other fighters paying sanctioning fees and fighting their way up the rankings.
