Its not like they knew they were going to be gassed early on. By the time people really knew what was going on it was too late. Its not like they had the internet or could use a cell phone to book a flight or call an Uber. You had to have the means to escape as well.

If they can't read situations then they can't be that smart. It's a myth that these people are smart. They have just had access to education more than others as they have had money. What they have is a community spirit as people who lived as foreigners they had to stick together and support each other and block others from accessing benefits. These guys hAve been foreigners for so long so they had to rely on business and entertainment as a form of survival. If they were as intelligent as people think how come they had to move and live in exile all those years until the UK gave them somewhere to live?
