  • washing gi's/kimono's and fight shorts

OK I need some serious help.

I have been washing my Gi, and Fight shorts by hand cause it said something about hot water not being good and i can't control the temp of the washers here at school.

I can't get the whites back ot being well nice and white.

    what do i do?

I wash mine in cold water and I DO NOT machine dry. I use a detergent with a color safe bleach, do not use clorine bleach! I hope this helps.

            Mut is right.

Never I mean NEVER put your GI or shorts in the dryer, they will shrink up on you. Wash on cold all the time also will help from the shrinking. As for get'n it white well that's a bit hard, use stain remover, a lot of it. Using color safe bleach does help. If you use the chlorine bleach it will turn your GI yellow.
