Tyson, King said, sees a Foreman fight as one he can't win. "Mike says if he beats him, people will tease him about beatin' up on a 42-year-old man, and they'll laugh at him if he loses," King said.

Do you agree with this Don King/Tyson quote about Tyson fighting Foreman?

In hindsight it couldn't have hurt his legacy any more than his fight with Holmes. Especially if Foreman continued his winning ways afterward and still KO's Moorer 3 years later. It didn't hurt or help Holyfield's legacy when he fought George.

I tend to agree with that outlook. Coulda been interesting doe, but yea idk that there woulda been a winnable outcome for Tyson. Idek that Holyfield got much of a W for beating Foreman back then re-thinking back on that fight.

- -Foreman whooped Field and had the alleged best trained heavy in history hanging on for dear life in the late rds.
Cus had taught Tyson to be a student of the game. He gleefully took the fat Lar fight, but when Foreman was proposed, that was the weaker DKing version and he wisely ducked.
