  • Is Texas Slowly Becoming a Blue State?

With all the illegal immigration from Mexico into Texas mean that it's slowly becoming a blue state? Or is the power of Texan values and the strength of its assimilation going to continue to make it a red state for generations to come?

Keep in mind Texas has a Latino population almost on par with California, yet overwhelmingly votes red, or is that about to change?

Depends on how big the population in big cities. The larger the urban population the greater the chance of turning blue

All the major population areas/cities are blue. All the rural are red. Texas will soon be blue. And not because of illegal immigration. It’s the immigration from California and New York that is causing the change in demographics.

Interesting enough all the democratic areas are much richer than the republican rural areas. Put that trump n your pipe and smoke it.

We're all slowly dying, doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy life.

What's also Interesting is that all those rich democratic areas have an anstronomical poverty and wealth inequality rate. Otherwise if those Democratic areas are so well off then what's the point for a New Yorker or Californian to move to a ruby red state like Texas.

They're like carpet baggers. Plunder and pillage and then move to a prosperous area once they've killed their own, bringing their own failed ideologies with them. Vicious cycle for those they affect.

Lets brag about how wealthy and great California, NY, and NJ is, meanwhile statistically these are the top states people move out of.

Those states might be great for the so called despised top 1%, but for the Don Picardos of the world they're completely unaffordable, so they pack their bags and move to Texas or Alabama.

High poverty rate in big cities. True But the rural areas are all poor. Better some than all.

I’m in California. Won’t be moving to Texas or worse Alabama (been there done that, wussup to Anniston Alabama doe). Yes these rich democratic states are expensive. Many move. But many also move in as well. If you can afford it yiu stay. The or if you get tired of the expense you move.

Me I’ll stay until I retire and then move... to Puerto Rico not Texas.
