    A lot of those guys are not defensive fighters. They just have good defense.


    But in terms of pure boxers Chronologically it is.

        1) You're right, of course (for instance: Floyd wasn't even a "defensive fighter" until later in his career...)

            ... some are ranking Joe Louis among the best defensive fighters -- he only lost three times in his whole career (two of those losses were when he was 36-37 yo...)...
