Ward should move up to 175 or at least fight someone like Edwin Rodriguez or someone in the Top 10 at 168.

Hard to imagine a real fan of the sport saying the best fighter should be frozen out because he doesn't want to do something that is absolutely against his best interest.
also, a true champion will fight anybody, anywhere.

They wont pay him big money simply because he doesn't have a big enough fan base to fight lower tier fighters. HBO is more interested in making money. If they can make money off a popular fighter fighting low tier guys, they will do it. Ward just doesn't have the following to get by on fighting easy guys for loads of cash. Also, he is 30-something so HBO trying to get biggest fight made since they might be trying to cash in on him before he retires.

no one cares about the super six. there are other divisions if they had a 6 tournament it would be more interesting. the froch, Kessler and others were just c rate fighters because after them who is there. all ward needs to do is fight. I haven't heard anyone name somebody bigtime he should step in there with and I hate the word bum. even the worst fighter should never be refered to as a bum. obviously coming from those who never boxed.

Andre should fight a tuneup next, no question. Just to get the rust out.
Since it will be a lesser opponent though he does have to be reasonable with how much money he asks for from HBO.

he needs a tune up, hes been out for a while n coming from a surgery
but i dont kno who could be decent at 168 for him
hes gona have to move up to light heavyweight, might as well get a decent opponent at light heavy to test the waters

And for the guy who said Ward needs to fight overseas, SMH! He's hands down the best in & around his division, he doesn't have or need to go any where...I would like him to fight outside of Oakland though.
