  • Truth starting to come out about who is holding up the Joshua Wilder fight

For many people, and this includes astute observers on the US side of the pond, it has been obvious who has been making genuine attempts to make the fight, and who has been behaving amateurishly via social media, refusing to meet, not communicating, taking time etc.

There is a time and place for trash talk and all that stuff, more so after a fight has been made, it serves to hype up the event for casuals. The problem is that casuals can't read between the lines, and what they take away from some screaming on twitter is what they perceive as facts.

    The facts are.

    1. Asking AJ to sign a $50m 'offer' and openly saying that you have to sign without knowing terms and conditions, location, judges etc....that may be inconsequential to casuals but any boxing follower knows it's ridiculous to expect a fight to be made that way. Fact, plain and simple.

    2. Hearn flew to New York and Wilder's team would not even meet with him. Fact, plain and simple.

    3. Joshua is the A side. More belts, more draw. He decides where he wants it. Fact.

    4. They sent an offer to Wilder, properly formatted and executed. Received Monday. Wilder is 'mulling it over'. This came out today via a respected US newspaper, link below.

So, as most casuals screetch and whine because they react to drama on social media, actual boxing followers and people with some sense can see who has acted professionally and reasonably, and who has been amateurish and difficult. Kudos to the many Americans who have pointed this out too, among the many who have just been a bit dramatic throughout this saga.

Glad it is coming out now. Hopefully Wilder doesn't 'mull' for too long, it's a great fight and a close match up, great for fans.

You left out reluctance to do a payed commentator job at the Parker fight to promote the fight and ridiculous demands of haulting beginning negotiating with 50 % or no fight demands that in itself led to Joshua fighting Parker .

He further wasted weeks with his unwilliness to bend at 40% demands .

Come'on we all know Wilder is running out the Povetkin clock so he can get on social media and yell bomb squad and how Joshua is ducking him . His intent to use social media is obvious to anyone with a brain even though its most likely a 2019 fight .. lol

"get on social media and yell bomb squad" lmao, so true.

Yes, he's running the clock down it seems. I am still hopeful that it will get signed, but he's hardly busting his balls to make it happen.

I did miss out a few points like you said - astonishing that a guy who was supposedly desperate to unify would not travel to UK for Joshua Parker, but this just gets ignored. I am surprised though, I genuinely thought Wilder wanted this, but he may actually be stalling so he can scream 'bomb squad' and mouth off on twitter.

No one said you have to sign without seeing the contract.

What the hell are you signing then.

Lord, some of y’all are straight up, 100%, bonafide d*ckriders

They're in uber damage-control mode now that Heard came up with the stupidest excuse ever; "An 8 week camp isn't enough!".

These goofs don't know what the fuk to do now. They always go to him for their excuses, but even they aren't stupid enough to try to use that one so they're scrambling. Scrambling hard.

Yes. Because he's not stupid. He won't sign that without knowing the details. He'll make that, or close to it anyway. He will rule for many years and make many millions. You might be able to fool idiots and pressure Russians into ****ty situations (Kovalev) but Hearn is too sharp for these games. LMAO, get on a plane Deontay, you're not getting it all your way.

Alls Wilder had to do was negotiate the 12.5 Million offer ( LIKE HE EVENTUALLY DID ) and the fight would have been booked at Wembley weeks ago .

These ******s are really bad at math too , bc Joshua will make over 30 Million in the U.K so hes not losing out on 50 anything . lol

Joshua has had 12 weeks camps for each of his last 3 fights.

Crackhead Wilder fanboys like this guy thinks AJ is ducking if he doesn't want to change his ritual for the biggest fight of his career

                    These guys.. .
