Everything is rigged, everything is fabricated. Bellends.

Floyd let him waste any strength and power he had early and then proceeded to drain him further by walking him down. He had no concern for mcgregor's power after the first 3 or so and actually encouraged punches from mcgregor to drain him further and push for the stoppage. Mcgregor had no success like people think and unless floyd went to war with him he wasnt stopping mcgregor earlier, he chose the smarter, more measured approach of draining him over the course of the fight, it lasted as long as it did because mcgregor is a combatant, considerably bigger and floyd obviously not much of a puncher.

      Not true

      He was missing punches

He was smiling to relax himself and its part of mind games with his opponent. Floyd often talks about how being relaxed in big fights is important.

He didnt carry conor. Floyd has aged and conor was good

Even this mayweather if he was serious about 'winning' would easily outbox mcgregor wide, 12-0, but it would go to decision. Mcgregor is so little threat Floyd came with the gameplan to force a stoppage and to make sure of that he had to be constant with his pressure. But he didnt 'not' try, the missed punches etc is age, rust, and mcgregor did nothing impressive, he sucked royally, amateurs are definitely better that floyd could decide to use that strategy and stop him.

It's relatively easy for a boxer as experienced as Floyd to walk down a guy who is basically a novice. Floyd was Floyd, giving up a few early rounds until he KNEW Conor was limited in what he could do on the counter.

            Simple.

Floyd walked mosely down in the same style but didn't allow himself to be hit nearly as Often. The meme of connors jab tapping floyds nose (round 1?)explains about how worried Floyd was about mcgreggors offense. He didn't slip doge or fight just stood there.

Anybody else notice that Floyd didn't throw his usual leaping hooks. Or any hooks at all? It's improbable that he used such a limited arsenal do to anything Connor was doing. It's even more improbable that a guy goes from can't land at all to landing at will.

Let stop This myth that Connor was good. He was terrible. And never stood his ground not once in the whole fight. Connor was a good sport though and that I can respect. Floyd doesn't go out there trying to ruin guys careers, he gave him a humane kill as he always does.

He knew what was up inside 30 seconds and he just coasted for a while to A) let Conor tire and B) give the fans a show.

McGregor couldn't hurt Mayweather, that was obvious from the start.
Conor did what he was paid to do, took the money and enhanced his global reputation. Check out his post fight earnings party.

Looking at the state some of the UFC guys get into when fighting, I'd say this loss was an easy offer to take, with top dollar being paid by Floyd fans to watch.

                Everyone a winner

Conor - mega payday and starts promotional outfit.

Floyd - 50-0, with experience in promoting this now, so more cross-over fights will be arranged via joint promotion.

                Floyd fans "TBE!, TBE!, TBE!"

Conor fans - Lol, the best your sport has ever produced took 10 rounds to defeat a fighter who only trains for 5, in his debut pro fight. This was in your ring, with your rules. "Nothing to see here, so back to the octagon".

                Vegas - $$$$$$$$$ More Please!!!!

There were no losers on Saturday

I think there are a few interviews where he says that he tried to bet on 9.5 rounds but was not allowed to because he was a promoter. He sent someone else to place a bet for him though.

I agree. Mcgregor disappointingly is a what you see is what you get kinda guy. He is purely a outside counter puncher. No inside game or real conventional boxing ability. His shots lost steam pretty fast but beyond that he didn't understand how to implement the right game plan. With Floyd crowding him and squaring up with relentless pressure he should have been flinging wide winging upper cuts in between his guard. Much like Pac used to below 130. You got a guy stationary in a conventional boxing guard?.. move in and rip the biggest uppercuts possible between that guard.

The guy was laughing and winking at people in the crowed for the first 2-3 rounds. Of course he wasn't being serious, the fact that he was coming forward all night using a style he doesnt normally use shows he didn't take McGregor seriously at all. I said it would be a joke fight and it was.
