It will always be hard to quantify without a controlled scientific experiment. A faster punch gives an opponent less chance to see it or brace for it. Just like a counter punch is more devastating because the opponent is invested into giving his all into his own punch and cant be braced defensively at his best at the same time. Sucker punch is the best of all of course. I agree that from what I see Wilder prolly has the single hardest punch Iíve seen. He can land with two knuckles and take people out. It shouldnít surprise anyone that a rare build of 6í6Ē and 215lbs delivers rare results. I know Wilder claims he wants to kill someone in ring which is awful. But like u said Vitali could accumulate damage on someone which is more likely to kill someone than most anybody in my opinion. Tyson nailed evander with the right to the body, right uppercut. He took it. U canít trust anything most fighters say about other fighters anyway, they all have an agenda. I mean Iím sure sum are truthful but it gets washed away in the lies that others tell. I wouldnít want to take Wilders best punch over anyone elseís.

LMAO, so guys who have been in the ring with both don't know what they're talking about, but y'all do?

You don't think that guys like Richard Tower, Tyson Fury, and David Haye know how to gauge punching power? It's what they do everyday.

You think Wilder put everything into the punch that demolished Ortiz?

He flicked his wrist and Ortiz' head almost exploded.

He grazed Tyson Fury in the 12th round of their fight and he barely got up.

No-one can say wilder hits hardest but he's in discussion.
Vitali, wlad, haye, josh, mercer, tue lennoxr are hard hitters also. But they aren't in discusion.
That's all that can be said. If b y time wilder retires and he has highest ko percentage he can do no more than that. Apart from Ko some fighters with renowned tough Chins and get them outta there. So parker and Ruiz need to fight wilder

You think Haye got caught with a full power Klitschko right hand in their fight? He did not or he would have gone down.
