We live in a upside down world, the guilty ones
walk free the innocent due time.
I support the 2nd Amendment and own firearms
but Zimmerman was wrong and this lady was
          protecting herself.
I'm driving so I couldn't read everything but
          was the gun legally hers...???

According to the judge's order, "there is insufficient evidence that the Defendant reasonably believed deadly force was needed to prevent death or great bodily harm to herself," and that the fact that she came back into the home, instead of leaving out the front or back door "is inconsistent with a person who is in genuine fear for her life."

Did the gun belong to her legally?

                  Sound like it did

Main reason for her sentence is because discharging a gun while committing a crime requires a mando. 10-20 year sentence
