people expected pac to just blow jmm away.

so when that didn't happen , the natural reaction is to assume that pac was doing bad and jmm was doing good.

a good example of this is the morales-maidana fight.

i was rooting for morales and expected so little from him.

so everytime morales did something , i was jumping and hollering and thinking he was doing better than he was.

that's why a lot of people thought morales won. in truth he got beat up.
I seriouslywas trying to give pacquaio the fight, but he very clearly lost and was throughly outboxed in my opinion and marquez kept landing combinations to the head and body and made pacquaio look very bad and miss wildly.. I had it 115-113 for marquez, but should have had it 8-4.

I thought he would have be a 60-40 percent chancre against mayweather, but seriously pacquaio should avoid him.

yet pacquiao landed more and their connection percentages was pretty close.

now numbers isn't everything , this isn't baseball , but shows you right there the mindset people had watching the fight.

pac landed more and they landed close to the same percentage......but people perceive it as if marquez was landing crazy and pac was missing wildly.

        perception.

this is my scorecard: round 1- for Pac. very close round

round 2:i got it for Pac. another very close round

round 3: i gotta give it to Marquez.

round 4: close round again. Marquez

round 5: Marquez clearly won the round. the only easy round to score.

round 6: very close round again. i give it to Marquez

round 7: almost impossible to win the round but I'll give it to Marquez

round 8: close round again. ill give it to Pac for sheer agression

          round 9: round for Pac

round 10: close round but i give it to Pac

round 11: i give it to Pac. Pac hurt JMM and staggered him.

round 12: Pac clearly won. more agressive

7 rounds Pac- Marquez 2 rounds.

            pac is kinda opposite.

we're so use to pac dropping and stunning folks and tagging folks.

when he's not dropping and hurting his opponent , people think he's not doing well.

            ^^ these

            the 'Rocky Effect.'

still a pretty close match. ronnie nathanielsz had marquez winning so i guess that's a big enough edge! haha!

i have no problem with people scoring it for jmm or thinking jmm won.

i just think the robbery/dominated talk is absurd.

there was so many close rounds that could have gone either way.

I did 't see any robbery. There were a few rounds were JMM clearly dominated, but the entire fight as a whole was close.

Judges obviously went for quantity over quality.

Fights are judged by the ROUND not by the punch tally at the end of the fight, as if that really needs to be explained. If they were judged on number of punches landed by compubox there would be no need for judges at all right?
