can't get mad if the match gets made though. Every top 10 WW right now has a match lined up in the next 4 months. So Crawford can get in crap for being inactive or get in crap for not fighting a big name.
Thank you. Crawford has always been active and wants to fight 2-3 times every year. This is an okay stay busy fight for him. I will admit that is all it is- a stay busy fight. But too many fighters are a once a year, rest on their laurels types.

However, I think we are at the point where these 147 warriors need to get back to fighting each other. These fights do have shelf lives, and Crawford has maybe 2-3 years before his active style catches up with him. We need a top fight for him.

Anyone who has Crawford in their top 5 is smoking crack

Spence: A beast with one real win behind him.

Wilder and Fury: One beast with one real win behind him, one inactive HW with crap opponents and one real win that was one of the uglier fights I have ever seen behind him.

Spence needs more than a fight a year, and he will easily contend a top spot on lists. He LOOKS the part of a P4P champ and almost everyone has him somewhere in or close to the top 10, but really he hasn't that great of a resume. Just being honest. Crawford has cleaned out 2 divisions and stepped up to another one for bigger challenges and looked great doing it. He is legit top 5, no crack pipe needed.

By the way- your other three are great picks and are legit top 5. Like I said, Spence at least looks the part and can be defended. But Wilder and Fury?? Come on now. You know better.

Crawford’s earned a shot against Thurman, Spence, and Porter.

Danny Garcia had a worse resume than Crawford at 140, and after Rod Salka he got title fights with Thurman and Porter.
Only problem is none of the names you just mentioned will fight him , Thurman wants his tune up then he's going after his WBC belt so that takes care of Porter to and from that video floating around on social media Errol Spence jr don't want that smoke either.

Exactly. Porter seems to be the welterweight champ who holds the cards right now. Thurman and Spence said they both want a unification fight with Porter in Summer or Fall 2019.

I think it will be Thurman-Porter 2. Thurman and Porter said they both want a rematch with each other before a fight with Spence.

Which leaves Spence to fight Danny Garcia. Danny’s only losses were close fights to Thurman and Porter, so he’s the next best option if the Crawford fight doesn’t happen.

Do folks not understand how it works? These networks and promoters are ruining the best fights with there greed. Crawford and Spence can say they want to fight each other all day long as I doubt neither is ducking the other. However it’s up to the promoters and these shady networks who only thinking about there own pockets.

Crawford dominated 140 and stopped every opponent except the undefeated Postol (who got dropped by Crawford). Bud became undisputed champ so easily that many thought he’d become the top WW before he even got to 147.
Lipinets is better than Crawford's opposition at 140 and Broner is better than everybody he fought except Postol at 140
