  • A lot of Celebs will be at Wilder vs Fury in LA Staples Center

And unlike the UFC showtime didnt have to beg them to attend, UFC basically pay celebs to go to their events and show them on camera, but with big boxing matches celebs will go on their own free will nobody had to ask them to endorse it.

Boxing is prestigious of course more celebrities will be there. UFC can’t compare to boxing I think they have a good 5yrs left they were in the red and got saved. It won’t happen again

You know ufc last ppvs other than conor average 100 to 200 k buys. Thats low for a brand that invests millions in marketing promotion and commercials.

Boxing barely invests in promotion and they still do good numbers, now imagine if they invested like ufc, its a wrap

Who has confirmed to come? I wonder if King James will be in attendance? The Lakers play at home on the 30th and then the 2nd so he will be in LA during fight weekend.

The promotion amps up starting this Saturday with the All Access episode. They should be making the waves to ESPN and Fox Sports headquarters during fight week.

You’re correct the spend upwards of 9figures on promotion and there cards have steadily declined in numbers. The Federal Reserve warned Goldman Sachs before they purchased and they’ve recently warned them again about future debt.

I’d be surprised if the make it past 5yrs without collapsing

the biggest investment promotors make are the ones you do not see. for every fighter than pans out to a world title there are 5 frankie gomez, who you must sign out of the amatuers with a big contract or he'll head somwhere else.

only promotors i really odn't see making huge investment are duva, shaw, dibella to an extent [though he built boxing in NY and the northeast with local shows.] they make their money by taking license fees and keeping costs low. fine for a fight on hbo or showtime, not adequate for ppv. and kovalev's numbers showed that.
