I think Lawler is tripping and was out for 1 moment, arm don't go limp like that for no reason..it dropped. Crazy to me how Askren could be so hurt and still have that grip.

reminds me of lee vs chiesa , early stoppage , but the end was nigh , askrens grip is unreal , whilst his striking is almost unbelievably bad for a top tier guy , jake shields is the only one in recent memory i can remember getting close to the belt with absolutely no striking , even maia learned later ...

Everyone thought he was out, when you let your arm just drop like a loose rag, it's hard to say it was a mistake by the ref.

The mistake was Lawlers if in fact he wasn't out, I think he was out for a second or two, I've been a fan of lawlers for years so I would like to see it again.

This guy looked incredibly off the mark and he was only fighting Lawler. Lawler really should have done him in like that Ryan Schulz guy did to the kid who was the "face" of the IFL all those years ago.
