Any time they test a missile that goes 1000 miles the media always speculates "well if they aim that missile at a certain trajectory with the correct adjustments in technology, they can hit every city in the US".

The pentagon has yet to say if NK has range to hit any city in the US. Thats the only source you should trust.

Nk usually shoots their missiles straight up and down. They use that to estimate.
