Not a bad law, then again some cases kids are born with thyroid problems and etc.

First law that I've seen to make money for a good cause, everything else they've done is to screw the hard working middle class.

I have thyroid problems and with simple (1 pill a day) treatment I'm in great shape.

I see obese people using that excuse a lot and I ask... Why don't you get it treated? And the (unspoken but obvious) answer is they don't have thyroid problems, they're just addicted to food, googled "disorders that cause weight gain", and decided they have that.
