Canelo is believing all the idiots that surround him that he is great. Hahaha what a protected fighter Canelo is, hasn't fought one number one contender in his division. Instead, he fights a no name and makes him fatten up and mov up in weight. Chavez never made clowns move up in weight and he almost always fought a known contender. Canelo vale verga

The Gingexican is popular enough, but the resume probably won't touch Chavez Sr

When Chavez Sr. won the title was against the favorite Mario Martinez, then he went onto defend it right against Ruben Castillo, then against Roger Mayweather. You don't see that anymore. "Regular", "interim" titles should not even be available, they degrade the meaning of being the champion. In the 80's you were a unified champion when you won the WBA and WBC. that meant something. Let's not even talk about when there was just only one champion.

CANELO is very young and has fought 4 former world champs(N'DOU,BALDOMIR,CINTRON and MOSLEY),not a bad start anyway!CANELO beat also MIGUEL VAZQUEZ(now IBF lightweight world champ)!

So are you saying Canelo can't "Beat It"? As for Jr, sounds like he "Wanna Be Starin' Somethin". JCC jr should take a look at "The Man in the Mirror". That dope smoker is nothing but a "Smoothe Criminal". Haha had to do it. But yeah it ain't happening in this day and age.

I like Canelo, but he's got a long way to be mentioned alongside Sr.
