  • Floyd weighed in at 150 on his first fight at Jr Middleweight for the WBC belt

    Except his opponent weighed 154

Mayweather fought De La Hoya for his (148lb.-154lb.) title which he had just won by knocking out Mayorga.

Pacquiao will fight Margarito for the vacant (148lb.-150lb.) title which Margarito just earned the shot to by decisioning Roberto Garcia.

*Both Mayweather and Pacquiao will have made their jump's up to Jr Middleweight 2 years after their welterweight debut*

Mayweather didnt ask for a catchweight fighting De La Hoya, He didn't even make the 154 and still Beat ODH who was probably 167 on fight night...as opposed to Manny who was 148 compared to ODH 147 on fight night....The only two fighters that i've seen Floyd out weigh is Marquez and Hatton...everyone else was bigger then him.

Don't forget he beat Marquez who weighed 180 on fight night and Ricky Hatton who weighed 3 tons too.

When Delahoya fought Mayweather...Oscar had much more bargaining power. Oscar was the PPV draw. Oscar demanded 154, and Floyd had to agree.

When Floyd fought Marquez....Floyd had much more bargaining power...and what happened? Agreed to catchweight and didn't bother meeting it. Regardless, Marquez agreed.

Now that Manny's fighting Margo....obviously Manny is the PPV draw. Manny sets the catchweight limit, Margo has to agree.

surprise, ****in surprise....the PPV draw with higher bargaining power sets the terms to their favor.

Should we also not forget about Pacquiao and Oscar Larios or Erik Morales in the 2nd and 3rd bout? What else should we not forget?

Pacquiao should make a punches thrown per round limit for Margarito because he is the PPV draw and Margo has to agree to the terms in Pacquiaos favor.

Margarito: 8 punches thrown per round limit
Pacquiao: unlimited punches thrown per round
