why do even the most mediocre fights take so long to get made at pbc?

Pbc is lacking long term vision... Basically wasted year 1... Had some good fights but leads to nowhere.. What has Santa cruz, Thurman, porter, Garcia etc done to capitalize on big wins they had... Nothing

They put on a bunch of good fights,but unfortunately they haven't built an audience, because they are on a million different channels and times.. And the ratings reflect that... And after every big win a pbc fighter has, it won't be followed up with a big fight, and they will lose all momentum,,,
Pbc should have already had Russell jr vs Santa cruz... No brainer of a fight and winner would really become a star., instead they will fight every 7 months vs some cherrypick..
At the rate PBC is going, no network is going to give them 100+ million like ufc gets from fox... PBC may get a smaller TV deal, but it won't be big enough to deliver fights like thurman-ghost or Santa cruz-mares, and we will get nothing but espn FnF caliber fights...

The winner of Thurman vs Porter automatically becomes the new 147 king. That's why a lot of us are making a big deal out of this fight.

Look at the 147 landscape, the supposed 147 top guys been fighting trash basically.

Kell Brook did win his belt against Shawn Porter and i give him props for that but he's been fighting pure garbage ever since. I can't even remember the names of the guys he's been fighting.

Personally i do not consider Tim Bradley an elite 147er but a lot of people do for some reason. I do not believe that one should become a welterterweight champion by defeating fckin trash bag jesse vergas. I do not belive one becomes an elite welterweight by defeating fckin bum bum rios, jesse vergas and diego chaves. Oh and losing to #48 twice.

No matter wich way you slice it, the winner of Thurman-Porter becomes THE guy.

Sure, beating phucking 42 year old Bundu, washed up Collazo, washed up Julio Diaz, slow as molasses Karass and the guy you just discredited in your post Chaves makes you the man?

You have to be kidding or something because Bradley's resume is 10 times better than Thurman's is. It's like pulling teeth to get Thurman to confirm his fight with an actual legit welterweight because the guy has had so many soft touches, he doesn't know what it means to face a threat.

the majority of these fights are the definition of mediocre considering the talent pool that haymon possesses. you're just too much of a pbc slave puppet to understand. why even make fights like thurman-collazo or garcia-judah or the bum of the month club jacobs and quillin fought before facing each other? haymon will typically put one of his "name" guys against some gatekeeper and you all claim it's a 'great' fight.
