Does the media manipulate fans into accepting bad decisions?

    And yes, the whole boxer vs puncher thing was way off. Both are boxers. One punches much harder than the other but both are very much boxers. They've been doing that forever for hype. You want to make it seem like two opposites in there and I get it. In movies and shows, they make the characters as different as possible or else where's the conflict? With Kovalev-Ward, you had different nationalities, different races and of course, let's throw in Boxer vs Puncher as well. Just builds it up more, but we boxing fans do know better of course. It would be like calling Leonard-Hearns boxer vs puncher when both clearly are boxers. Boxer vs Boxer wouldn't see as well, they figure.

      NO. Bad decisions are a part of boxing and have been so since day one. It's a lot better now than it was during the mafia controlled era of boxing. Fans accept that there will be bad decisions and we argue and eventually move on to the next bad decision.

        Kellerman seemed pro Ward. He ignored many good punches that Kovalev landed. Lampley sounded like a total ******. He was clearly rooting for Kovalev. His commentary was embarrassing.
