Good for him. He deserved it. I don't think he was ever in a bad or dull fight. He gave Broner his first real beatdown. He should go to the Hall of Fame for that and other good deeds.

But he gave Floyd a run for it doe lol.
Second fight was a clinch fest and terrible job by Bayless.

First fight was great. Floyd won 8-4 but it was one of the few fights floyd really open up offensively late in his career.
he passed the audition. who got the floyd-pac job? let him break the rules and bend over below the waist any time he wanted. its unfortunate he didn't review the rules before that fight. guess he was just too busy. SO MANY RULES! he only did it like 40 times lets not nitpick here!

His job favors certain styles. If you’re an outside fighter you’re gonna be okay with bayless. Thus making him do a great job with pac-floyd. But During the maidana II fight he didn’t even give them time to work out off the clinch or give maidana the chance to work at all. Now Floyd may have still won any version of it but at least let’s be fair. Anytime maidana closes the gap he jumps right in. We didn’t have any problems at any of that in the 90s.

Some refs do that nowadays too, but that night it was too much. Floyd deserved a warning as well.

Floyd-Maidana I was the better fight but yup maidana should have been called for his dirty moves.

Fun fact: Kenny Bayless has reffed just as many Pacquiao fights as Floyd fights.. maybe more.

but Bayless is protrayed as "pro Floyd" lol.

and the ppl who critique him for the Maidana rematch say nothing of Tony Weeks who allowed Maidana to do MMA moves on Floyd. its obvious you dont care about no rules or integrity. you just hate one fighter and could care less if his opponent throws elbows, knees and tackles him.

Fouls don't matter when you have an agenda.

Maidana did everything he could to win that 1st fight and got rewarded for not just going in and taking a payday. He deserves to reap the benefits of revenues he more than earned.

It’s not your life to understand. Let him enjoy his. And you do the same.

Maidana allegedly got the TV rights to Argentina for both fights (so no one really knows what his full pay was, after for sure getting $3m and an alleged $1m to fight in the gloves that Floyd picked for him), an he's living in Argentina (depending on how/where he kept his money, dollar to peso today is 27.5:$1 and you can rent a 2 bed/1 bath in a fancy part of the big city for $10000 a year).

Taxes and paying the camp is what it is, but even if he cleared $2m, that'd be enough to rent a 4 bedroom villa in the big part of town for the next 100 years, and still have money left over.

Bradley can do with his money how he wishes
