Testing doesn't have to be easy. But it IS straightforward and largely consistent.

What's also consistent is that a cheater isn't going to accept random drug testing knowing they'll get caught.

What's straightforward is that you don't just randomly fail a test hours before a fight.

100% he's a cheater. But we should have had this result weeks ago, not hours before the fight.

And I remember quite a few peeps around here getting on Mayweather for using "Crooked" USADA instead of VADA for random testing.

Something doesn't add up. How do you get busted on a test just before the fight but not tests leading up to it? It's like he juiced the day before the fight - but that wouldn't do anything for him except maybe help him cut a bit.

The Duhaupas KO seems to confirm what people have been saying though - boxing's decline is directly matched to the cleanup of the sport. Put them on the juice, you see those brutal KO's from the 80's. No juice, better get used to Kovalev/Ward level bouts for the future.

Might as well let them both do it at this point.
Or maybe, stay with me here this might sound crazy, HE'S A CHEATER!!!!!

The Russians ran a very sophisticated PED program in the Olympics. You're ignoring all that evidence and blaming VADA? There are no certified testing agencies in Russia because they can't be trusted. Who's t say he wasn't dirty the previous five times but Russia's sophisticated cheating system got his dirty samples switched? There is no conspiracy to frame Povetkin. He's not even that big of a star. Stiverne isn't that big of a star. Wilder isn't that big of a star. What would be the point of framing him? Who would gain something by setting him up? What would they gain?

Looks like the testing detection rate isn't good. They missed the meldonium also.

Exactly my point. How in the world do you let this kind of thing happen twice?

And no, I don't buy for a moment some Russian conspiracy about switched samples. Any conspiracy is an inside job, period.

And another thing. The first three were negative. This is the fourth test and they're still waiting on the results of the fifth test.

No. They haven't gotten the results of the fifth one yet. This is from the results of his fourth test
