Their purses for their cards are far less then PBC was on ESPN. They are not wasting millions on a stupid jumbotron, or millions on private jets and other foolish expenses like the PBC did. Who knows if these time buys lead to ESPN actually spending money and paying Top Rank later or leads to them creating their own streaming service. But I do know that top rank has been in business a long time and know what they doing and aren't going to blow half a billion in a year and a half. PBC as a company will be non existent because it was terrible business. Top rank will be a successful company even if they lose their ESPN deal tomorrow.

PBC is not recouping it's loses and FOX or any network wants nothing to do with paying for this mess. You don't go from only being on TV because you pay networks to do so then perform horribly in the test run phase, lose insane amounts of money and every network cut bait from you then expect the last network to just bid against them selves and fork over millions for what? Ratings you can get from bass fishing and sitcom reruns for a fraction of the cost? LMAO
Actually Espn is paying top rank not the other way around. I agreed with you up until that. They jumped ship from hbo and signed an exclusive deal where they put all there cards on espn and give them access to old top rank fights and also all top rank ppvs will be produced by espn. Haymon is the only one doing time buys

You posted the time buy for the airtime for only 1 network about 5 more to go then just nbc. And dumb azz it wasnt just the time buy contracts that put them in the hundreds of million in the hole, they also had to buy numerous fighter contracts, large fighter purses which they paid not the networks, a huge circle jumbotron worth millions that they transported around the country to use at all pbc events,

private jets one for haymon one for the fighters.

        amp.reddit.com/r/Boxing/comments/43rbbz/did_al_haymon_actually_buy_a_private_jets/

They also spent millions to get a Oscar and Grammy winner to compose the music soundtracks for PBC

All these expenses for these fights are part of the hundreds of millions of the investors money the PBC lost
You're just talking out your arse funny. You simply don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about, which has been demonstrated over and over again in this one thread

I appreciate what you're trying to do here regarding the links to articles discussing losses. What I will say is this, let's not confuse the "accounting" losses with real losses. Real losses cause businesses to close doors. Accounting losses enable businesses to not pay taxes and reinvest gains. It also allows funds to not have to pay out dividends.

There is likely more to it than can be explained on a NSB thread so why try? Like what's your end goal with decrying PBC is failing as a boxing fan?

Why would boxing fans root for free boxing to fail on TV? I don't get it.

Awful ratings. PBC managed to lose more than 75% of it's lead-in audience from the Yankees-Astros game.

For Network TV that is just Decent! For Boxing in general that is Solid! People trying to just making it a PBC Struggling thing but NO boxing IN GENERAL here in American is in a bit of a struggle and it needs a overhaul

Promoters, Managers, Advisers, Networks or whoever need to come together, work together and come up with solutions to repair their struggling sport here in the States! If not they will all continue to lose big money or just barely break even and eventually some of these Promotions will just bow out of the sport because of the lack of interest

But when you got So Called "Boxing Fans" Celebrating when Ratings Dip for a Boxing Event, that is disturbing for the sport!

That guy 1. Likely doesn't understand the nuance of the point you're making. 2. Has no clue what he's talking about concerning TV deals and content distribution. 3. Comments regularly like he's related to somebody from Golden Boy. 4. That article is very old. It'd be more useful to share something concerning recent developments. The TR case was settled (releasing exclusivity only) and the Golden Boy case was granted summary judgement in favor of Haymon.

Nothing you've posted since supports this statement. Haymon spent tens of millions on time buys, not $500 million like you're claiming. The article you posted doesn't claim that $500 million was spent on time buys like you're claiming. Why are you repeatedly lying?

You have NO IDEA how much money has been lost. PBC's creative assessment of what PBC is worth does not equal how much money was spent or how much money they have left. That's not how this works.
