I thought that too but am finding that they actually used sticks, shells, rocks, and all kinds of other cheap stuff that may be laying around.

Thus I'm thinking it may have more to do with all the mucus (stuff that turns into boogers) humans have

Some do eat it and will even roll in it . They also lick themselves clean but animals dont usually need to wipe. Humans often do need to whipe and apparently always have
