Worst movie based on a video game?

Definitely Super Mario Bros. The Gaming Historian gave some great background info on the constant script and director changes, which led to that disaster of a movie. Resident Evil could've been so much better. George Romero was originally attached to direct and was going to keep the story a lot closer to the original game. That could've been so good.

while it's pretty hysterical and bad that a white guy with eyeliner is playing a japanese character [who was based on a historical chinese character named wu kong,] let's not forget that DBZ and dragonball were not videogames, but a magna / comic book and then later an anime / TV show.
