He's third behind them, and that's fine. That's a great career. No need to exaggerate and say he was better. He sure as **** didn't destroy Tavoris Cloud's career. Cloud had been exposed before Hopkins ever came around. Probably why Hopkins eventually did come calling. And like it or not, the first Pascal fight was close enough that it was certainly no robbery.
Even in terms of longevity (which is Bhops ace in the hole) its close when you take into account how early Floyd and Manny were competing at the top.
I made a thread in the history lounge about longevity at the top of the sport (first world level win to the last), and it came out with Mayweather 17years, Pac 18 years and Hopkins 16.
Amazing, no doubt. Not better Floyd or Manny. They are a tier above

B-Hop is greater than Floyd and Pacman.
He beat better fighters and took greater risks. It's really not debatable if you actually look past star/ppv status.
Hell, Marquez may even have a better resume and done greater things than them both too.

Hopkins lost twice to Taylor who is otherwise relatively undistinguished. Taylor was very solid for a while but he was no Marquez.

Especially not Marquez. Im not trying to crap on these guys cos they are great fighters. But Floyd and Manny are a step above both

The only thing Floyd and Pacman have are that they climbed more divisions. As far as quality, B-Hop and Marquez have that easily.

That longevity for Pac is really amazing. I feel his longevity goes very unmentioned. He's very clearly declined and yet he's still able to handle top 10 welterweights with ease. If he manage to pick up a Crawford win before he's done that will be unreal. Despite losing to Mayweather, he still has a chance to create real debate about who had the better career.

Pacman only had a starving DLH since Barrera.
Both Floyd and Pacman were favored against everyone else, minus the farce between them both.
Marquez fought them both before they fought each other. Marquez beat thee 130lb champion. And owns a brutal stoppage of Pacman while Floyd has Diego Corrales. Which is a laughable (best win).
