Dr,Dre thought he was black before they met. So he would still have been signed to Aftermath but it is possible that he wouldn't be as popular with white people although, LiL Wayne has already proven that a black rapper can have a white majority fan base.

I think you have a point. I have just returned to the UK from the West Indies and while I was out there listening to music I was shocked when it became obvious at how many white stars like Sting etc were usurping black unknown artists work and influence.
