I fucking hate comic nerds. That said this really shouldn't be called Comic-con anymore. It's not. Its been bastardized. These days it's a crowded mess downtown but less nerds more party goers.

It always fell on the same week as my wife's birthday and I used to take her to dinner downtown until it started getting too crowded. One year we were having dinner in a nice restaurant and some dude walks in with some nerd girl and he's full on dressed like he is in Lord of The Rings.
