  • Is 2018 the year of the underdogs?

Some won, some didn't, but performed competitively.
Can't remember them all but I'll start with:
    Eleider Alvarez vs Sergey Kovalev
    Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin
    Isaac Dogboe vs Jessie Magdaleno,
Dogboe, unfortunately, got beat by an underdog, E Navarette
    Lomachenko vs Pedraza
    Wilder vs Fury
    Jermell vs Harrison
    Jermall vs Korobov

Will it carry over to 2019?

Oh it will. Mares > Davis all day

Only if Davis makes weight though!

Don't forget Warrington beating The Welsh Mayweather.

            That was a shocker.

Man we have so many mismatches in boxing, its bound that one of these underdogs get a win.

Exactly the point of this thread.
Fans are just sick and tired of these top fighters
having so many excuses not to fight each other.
Let's all hope their cherrypicks would all gone horribly wrong.

I for one of course would be rooting for all of these underdogs.
                They don't have to win.
I'd be satisfied to see the favoured one struggle the entire fight.
That to me is extremely entertaining.

                  Both Haye Bellew fights.

Fury if he'd got the decision over Wilder.
