And no, this isn't about limits anyway.
It's about massive new taxes. That despite the data showing that after the city spent more on fighting homelessness, they are seeing the numbers of homeless drastically rise.
Please keep up better.

You will only grow the problem
It sounds good what you are saying, in an ideal world I would totally agree with you, but in reality all it does is grow the problem
San Fran and Seattle are prime examples
1. Huge social programs so the leeches flock and overwhelm system
2. To keep up with all the costs, they will start heavily taxing producers.
3. Producers all leave area
4. Place is stuck with a population of leeches and little producers
5. Place deteriorates into a shythole
This is exactly what Puerto Rico did, and now facing reality.
Soon it will be Seattle

Notice the article citing Amazon's reaction to the new tax proposal.
If Amazon won't stay and pay the tax, you know there will be alot of other businesses doing the same thing.
You can't tax job providers out, and somehow expect to see less homelessness. They need jobs to get homes, geniuses.
Liberal politicans are flat out stupid. The only ones more stupid are those who vote for them.

You are not getting homeless back on their feet. That is a fairy tell. Either they are mentally incompetent or drug users that have burned every bridge and are in the streets.
All these programs we have in NY and it is not working because nobody is obligated to continue treatment or try to strive individually.
So basically you just want all to be given, rent, food, services and something that is so contra productive instead of the military that is very productive.
Lets continue to support the homeless, every illegal immigrants and welfare addicts while the working man continues to pay more and more in taxes.
