He cant use it as an excuse after the fact but its no doubt a real life disadvantage to give away 50lbs , dont make out it didnt exist.

No, too much weight slows you down and lessens your power. Plus being lighter takes less energy out of you. 15-16 stone is ideally where you can maximize that power. It's just another pathetic excuse from Wilder. Fury would be much better and hit harder and be quicker if he was around 230-240lbs If Wilder put on weight and went up to 240 he athleticism would go. And yes, if Wilder ate right and took supplements he could put on the weight, but he chose not to as it ain't good for his game. |

Broken arm, ref saved fat man Fury, he had the sniffles, he was outweighed. Yet he was getting outboxed like crazy by the fat lug? Wilder should just be quiet because he pretending like he thinks he should have won while being unable to contain his smiles after the fight only makes it that much more obvious that it was rigged.

Yes, a fat person, even normal people get can get lighter as they get older quite easily. But Wilder is neither, he is regarded as an elite athlete and lets face it; for his height he's not exactly stacking up the poundage. He's been getting progressively lighter for a while now, it's not like all of a sudden he dropped a load of weight specifically for Fury. He's not naturally chunky like Fury or Kownacki and he's not built like Joshua either, but lets face it; the man needs a bit more bulk in his legs at least. It would aid his movement, and add even more power to his punches.

I’ve seen him come in much heavier than that. He chose to come in light for tactical reasons, likely speed and endurance, and he didn’t seem to lose any power because of it, so it doesn’t seem like the worst decision.
He just got outboxed plain and simple. |

Was fury's 250-lb weight the best weight for him? or is this the safest he could do at the moment after plunging from 400 lbs in his fat loss camp?
