Death Stranding is an upcoming open world action video game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. It is game director Hideo Kojima and his company's first game following the 2015 disbandment and termination of their contract from Konami, and was officially announced at Sony's E3 2016 conference. It is tentatively scheduled to be released sometime prior to 2019.

The game features actors Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen, as well as director Guillermo del Toro, who are portrayed in-game via motion capture. The game's title is a reference to the cetacean stranding phenomenon.

For realism, it would have been odd if Big Boss and Solid Snake had the same voice though. They have similar genetic code but that doesn't mean they should have the same voice, look at Liquid Snake and Solidus Snake. They should have had different voices from the get go.

I'm hoping it isn't. MGSV had some excellent moments and gameplay was flawless but it was unfinished due to Konami being dumbasses, that wasn't his fault. They're so dumb that they cancelled Silent Hill which was bound to do well, especially with their engine in terms of gameplay/physics.

Kojima is a genius, knows how to write deep meaningful yet weird ****. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt atm.

Thats just nostalgia talking Hayter is a poor actor compared to Kiefer tbh.....

As far as MGSV, if Konami had actually let Kojima work properly, it would have been a masterpiece.....the gameplay was on point....it was just unfinished...he literally had to direct it without being able to talk to most of the team. Granted, Kojima was going well over budget, so yes, he brought it on himself in some ways, but you can't really knock his dedication. Konami was gonna make a profit anyway, they could've been more lenient...Look at the way Sony tolerated Ueda with the last guardian for 10 years....or Square Enix giving Nomura FFVII after he failed to deliver FFVsXIII....they know they have the talent to make them money regardless.

Secondly voice acting isn't the same thing.

Sutherland Is a terrible voice actor.
Hayter isn't. Also the fans seem to prefer him.
