People forgot that Margarito was practcally forced to fight Williams, He avoid him until he couldnt no more, He fought two fights before he was finally forced into the Williams fight, Even then Arum told him not to take the fight, you would only know this if you were around at that time...Funny enough that was my first fight live in america.

Roy offered Lewis $25 mil to fight him but after the Vitali fight Lewis told Roy he was unsure if he was going to continue fighting and therefore turned down the offer. Look it up.

Bollox. Forced? He could have just dropped his belt and fought Cotto. A fight which Top Rank had virtually signed. But he decided to keep his belt and fight Williams.

he didn't do this for the right thing he felt he was being slighted monetarily by top rank

the circumstance you outlined are indeed true but Tony wanted to fight PWill anyway because of everyone calling him the most feared and ducked fighter in the sport.

I was there the whole time

that's what TR was hoping for but Tony opted to fight PWill

if you notice throughout that whole press tour and build up Top Rank was nowhere to be found

they weren't happy with Tony's choice

I believe that was what the court case was about. Goosen won the rights to promote the fight under his banner. I dont think it had anything to do with them "forcing" Margarito to fight Williams. He was willing to.
