In terms of these 147 guys, they are all controlled by the same guy and the fights are SO easy to make. I can understand the top 4 vs Crawford/Horn/Pac might be hard to make, impossible even with the US TV channels involved but they should all be fighting each other, rather than taking 10-12 months out and then having tune ups...only for another break.

I mean, we don't have to go too far back in time to see a more active division. Pac won his title at 147 in November of 2009, by August of 2012 he had already fought 5 times, thats a fight almost every 6 months, all on PPV, all against top opponents and across 2 weight divisions.

The guys today want to fight once a year, not even be PPV worthy but complain about money. What a joke.
Yeah im with ya there. These guys just want alot of easier but bigger cash. And most if not all them should still be fighting 4 times a yr. Seems like they get to where some boxing fans start liking them and wanna see them more often and wanna follow some these guys and then they go immediately to fighting once every 13 months or some crap and then ppl stop caring about them at all and they cant comprehend it being because they stopped producing so much they think they are stars already or something lol. So then they get some weird chip on their shoulder like its the fans fault haha smh. Hey see ya amigo

Funny part is the most unlikely fighter that could resurrect the division is a guy named Matthysse, not Spence, Garcia, Porter, Thurman, Crawford, even Mickey, etc.

As if Horn wasn't talking about fighting Mundine, and ducking Crawford a few months ago, until Bob Arum stepped in...

Matthysse is done...nobody gives a damn about him, and he isn't resurrecting anything.

He hasn't beaten anybody at WW, and his next fight is against another shot fighter.

Thurman is not coming back anytime soon. Garcia fought once last year and have been snubbing Porter and Spence. Spence is fighting TBA (to be announced.)
Man, you might as well forget about the existence of these clowns.

Na, Matt is done. Crawford v Horn is the top fight at the moment, with possible Crawford v Pac.

lol you may be right but I pointed out Porter v Garcia because the former claimed Thurman should be stripped (As he should) and he could fight Garcia for one of those belts.
