"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."

    Back in 2009.

Fought him in 2011 after his poor performances vs Mayweather and Mora.

Shane was gunna quit against Pacquiao

Pacquiao made him run so hard he got a blister on his foot

That's what embarrassing to these type of fighters man. They either shell up or run. Like Clottey, Mosley, Bradley, Floyd, Broner, etc. All the same.

Ring magazine gave him a A on his fighter profile. Higher then Floyd , Oscar , Tyson , Jones jr ?

Minus manny/ Mosley and the steroids theories.

Prime for prime who was better. Not who had the better career. Who would win in their prime.

Would be a good fight, Pacman would get hit with some huge shots, busted up, may be even a knockdown.
But prime Pacman would be far too active still and win on points.

Mosley was a beast in his prime, but Pacman in his prime was very, very fast. Pacman would win on points but take some huge damage in the process.

Prime Manny was doing damage win or lose. He was too relentless and had a chin.

Prime Pac was clearly better. No offense to Mosley, but prime Pac is one of the great fighters the sport has ever seen. Prime Mosley was just one of the best fighters of his era.

mosley only got the fight after leaving golden boy. same with marquez for the third and 4th fight. same with bradley. do you purposefully leave out the context? same thing happened wih floyd when cotto left top rank. they just werent willing to share revenue with each other unless it was that huge floyd-pac fight.
