Here is an example of how you know that Hearn doesn't and hasn't ever negotiated a potential big fight. Dlh's previous ppv high was 1.4 against Tito. Floyd had never sold anything close to that before fighting Dlh. Dlh Floyd sold 2.4 mil. You do the math.
I say that to say this.
They think they know Wilder's worth, but they don't know how to pay Wilder and still make top dollar in the U.K. All they know is that the fight can be big over there and that the just want to be greedy which is why they refused the fight in America, lmao. It's hilarious...

wilder's offer for 50 million to joshua was real. this fight would be bigger here overnight if it was signed and promoted. barry hearn has admitted this, so has eddie. there's just no comparing the top end boxing mathces in either coutnry. hopkins - calzaghe did better at the gate than joshua - klitshcko . really! look it up!
fill an arena doe
you guys don't know what you're talking abotu. eddie does, and that's why he's said that he wants the fight in the UK in spite of the bigger upside for having the figh there, and the 50 million dollar offer being real.
california alone has a bigger economy than all of england. acknowledge that and refute its impact.

Whether he said yes at first or not doesn't change the fact that it's a bad deal for him. What's so difficult to understand?
What's so difficult to understand is that Wilder accepted $15m and asked for a contract. Why ask for a contract if you aren't willing to sign it even though it has the terms you agreed to?
When the contract came and the figure was $15m, he doesn't sign the contract and turns down the deal saying they should have offered him more money and people defend this?
Yet they will criticise Joshua just for asking for a contract when the $50m offer came. It's madness.

I don't think should come into it. If you are motivated enough your focus would be on getting the A-side in the ring. Money would come later.. I don't really like to go into that side of things and i understand you need that to make fights, but some times you got to take financial risks to get those big names in the ring with you.
