Default Which boxer was given the most gifts on the scorecards in history?

Just as the title states, which fighter do you think received the most favorable scores in history? Winning decisions they should have lost, egregiously wide cards in their favor giving them victories in close fights, being up on cards they shouldnt have been at the time of stoppage, etc.

My initial thought is Ottke, but I know there are those here who have more knowledge than I and could maybe provide a different opinion.

Floyd Mayweather received 2 some say he didnít deserve the Delahoya win . Castillo and Madaina were robbed badly . Muhammad Ali should have lost all 3 Norton Fights

I'm probably in minority, but I don't think Ottke ever received a "gift" per se. He had a lot of close fights, but He had argument for winning all of them... and I had him winning all those fights too, even Reid one - only Glen Johnson fight I had a draw.

Ottke's robberies is largely a myth, in my view - down to people who don't really appriciate his style.
You can just as well said that Billy Joe Saunders was receiving gifts, becasue fights with Ryder, Eubank, Lee and Akavov all could arguably go other way.

I actually think it might be Chris Eubank Sr.
I wasn't very thrilled by decision in Thornberry fight, He clearly lost to Benn in a rematch, He took a beating from Collins twice and They made it close... and there were many other controversial wins He got - that I'm yet to go back and see.

I dunno, check and see who fought the most with Adalaide Byrd as a judge.

The woman surely cranked the scores in the wrong direction often enough, creating a lot of draws.

Then again, how many guys want to examine this woman's draws? Pretty funky...

It's Boxing. There are probably some really ridiculous cases of fighters getting whompped all over the ring and still getting a B.S. decision - chronically. Canelo comes to mind, but knowing Boxing, can you really believe he's the worst?

In terms of all time greats whose careers stand out above it all, I think the argument is pretty clear.... if you;re still scratching your head, his name rhymes with "Wally".

Seriously, Ali was great, but once his greatness was established he really benefited from the judges generosity in the ring, and paid for it in spades after retirement.

One or two "bad" decisions against him might have shortened his career, as he might have taken on the Marvin Hagler "awww f*kk it" view of Boxing - taken his ball and gone home. And that would not have been a bad thing.

He really could have retired after the foreman fight, and it would have done his legacy no harm.

Surprised no one has mentioned Canelo as there's clearly something bizarre going on with the judging of his fights. Maybe we've just grown used to it. I can't think of anyone else where eyebrows have been raised on so many occasions.
